What Rgb Lighting Software Doesnt Work With Easy Anticheat

Wow, that.... that is pretty crap code on the lighting exe. And, apparently, that issue goes back into last year.

I'd suggest: take this to asus / the company providing that light program, because it's NOT something that EAC had anything to do with, and certainly not something Steam can do anything about. It's directly the fault of the program doing the lights.

This is why I like my Gigabyte stuff. I can just turn the RGB On in the BIOS without software and leave it that way. I think ASRock is the same way too.

I don't know why ASUS and MSI haven't done similar things with their BIOS yet. I mean, it's SO much easier to control RGB without having to load a program up to run in the background in Windows, just set it up in the BIOS and leave it, it's much more convenient.

really? ive had this pc for a while now but before I could play EAC games without any problems, it just happened to me like a few weeks ago..

It might be some combination of OS, drivers, and other software, but it's definitely still on the program rather than EAC or steam. I don't have the stuff myself (and don't play games requiring eac that I know of) so I didn't really look through the one longer thread I found, but it was started in like... august of last year? So it's a known thing - it might not be for EVERY user? Maybe some update triggered it, or ,.... y'know. Computers. *shrug* :D

Hey, what about getting kicked for bad ping? Punkbuster did that to me numerous time.

I just bought a new system that is stuffed with that crap, every fan, ram stick and the motherboard and the waterpump and the case is also full of individual LED strips etc.

And I can't disable it.

I can disable the Motherboard stuff (ASUS)
I can't disable the LED Strips (Unknown)
I can't disable the Waterpump (CORSAIR)
I can't disable the Ram Sticks (CORSAIR)
I can't disable the Fan (CORSAIR)

The worst is the case has button on top to disable the RGB stuff, but they do nothing.

Also Bios is no option anyway here, because there are at least 3 different manufacturer involved.

So if I ever run into that issue (unlikely because I try to avoid EAC games), it's refund time.

don't play/buy games with that rootkit sellout

My compter and my friends computer looks like a carnival light show. His is something you'd see on some insane youtube channel with the amount of cutomizations he does

Neither of us have to 'disable' our Corsair RGB programs to play anything with EAC

This anti cheat company is annoying, if you play games under EAC you gotta turn off all your RGB lol. It detects lightning service, LED keeper, and mystic light as illegal programs. Aren't they gonna fix this?

I know RGB has no relation when it comes to gameplay but its just annoying lol.

I don't know much about those programs but I think the reason they would block them might be because people who make hacks can just pretend to be those programs or use hooks from them to get around anti cheat, they aren't exactly legal in he first place anyway so why would they not.

Looking at these posts are people who think having to go to bios is actually easier then using Mystic Light? are you stupid or High? Asus And MSI use these because it is much easier to open this and change whatever i want whenever i want without going into bios. the simple fact is EAC is garbage. No problems with VAC or playing on Orgin it is only EAC. half rate company for half rate games

Reading must be hard...

No - individual games use punkbuster, others use other means. Apex Legends as an example uses EasyAntiCheat. Battlefield 1 also uses FairFight.

The issue has been resolved.
If you are getting EAC (EasyAntiCheat) Game Security Violation Detection (#0000000D) due to your Asus Aura Sync, then this is how you can resolve it.
Asus has released an update that EAC does not consider a Violation of their game security.
Visit Aura Sync Utility Download:
https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/download.html

Update your Aura Sync to Version: 1.07.79
Run the Setup to remove your current Aura Sync and update it to the new version.
This has resolved all your EAC issues.
